Urgghhh!!! Life is so unfair... I had to go through -2 degree temperatures, in air so devoid of any moisture that it hurt to breath, and it didn't even snow. I mean, really, the temperature all day ranged from -2 degrees C to 3 degrees C and I didn't get to experience snow... I was wearing 2 sweaters and a coat... And boots with those fur-y things inside... And a knitted hat! This weather is so not worth it if it doesn't snow... The humidity (or lack thereof) is killing my skin!!! I'm getting wrinkly!! I need to book a spa appointment when I get home... Get hydrated... I'm in Seoul(sp?) right now. I haven't had much time to blog though, and I probably won't... I'll write all about it once I get back home. I'm posting this from my Tita's Macbook... She lives here. She's a "Senior Scientist" for IVI, the International Vaccine Institute. We're staying at her apartment. She's got three bedrooms...
I haven't really done anything of significant interest but today we went to Costco. It's kinda like Makro, kinda; To those of you who know about S&R, that's what it's like. It's kinda like an outlet mall and I saw this adorable sweater. It was pink, Made in Italy, 100% cashmere, and cost W76,500. My mom wouldn't let me get it. I forgot what brand it was but it was a decent brand, one of those I consider decent at least. I forgot what though. It started with a "K"... Anyway, with the exchange rate as of the time of writing, it would have cost around Php3,800. That's quite cheap for a cashmere sweater. Let alone one of decent brand... My mom can be so unreasonable at times... She said I wouldn't get to use it much since cashmere sweaters aren't exactly suitable for Philippine climate... She said I didn't need a new sweater. *sigh* I bet she would have let me buy it if it had snowed.
