I'm really not sure exactly who I am.
But whoever is reading this has access to my innermost thoughts.
So I'll let them decide.

Our classes have been suspended for the rest of the week so I can relax and recuperate after the 1st Qtr exams and UPCAT. I really don't have anything to say write now and my desire for self-expression is pretty satiated so I'll just write about my UPCAT experience (which was actually pretty boring.)
I started feeling the 'OMG, UPCAT!!!' kind of feeling the night before, while I was sharpening the limited edition Cory and Ninoy #2 Mongol pencils my parents bought. It was sort of a lightheaded feeling caused by, I'm guessing, anxiety. After all, I hadn't studied at all or even attended a single review class. The most I did to prepare was answer a mock test module. And the subject was English, which I'm pretty sure I would ace anyway. I'm happy to say I felt no real pressure or nervousness about it, except minutes from the exam when I the reality of my lack of preparation sunk in. Luckily, Jessa was there to keep me from hyperventilating and I just told myself, It's just the UPCAT. Even if I end up an oblation scholar I wouldn't go to some glorified state school. I'm aiming for either Ateneo or UST, seeing as the SAT people don't consider Pisay as an existing high school, my dreams of attending Columbia University in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York will never be realized...
Anyway, (Jessa and) I just told myself that I made it through 3 and 1/4 years in Pisay without (or barely) studying. The UPCAT would be a breeze compared to our 2nd year Chem achievement test. (It actually was much easier than most quarter exams.) But I'm already getting ahead of myself, I was preparing my things, the night before August 7, and I realized that I didn't have a bag that was big enough to hold the stuff I needed that wouldn't clash with the outfit I'd decided on. So I decided to dig in Nanay's bag closet. I saw this stunning Micheal Kors but obviously I couldn't use it to take an entrance exam, not that most people there would know about brands like that....
Moving on: I picked a no-name brand white tote that would fit my jacket and snacks and a Paule Ka makeup bag as a pencil case. I know Paule Ka>Micheal Kors but I figured no one would notice the pencil case. :) BTW the rest of my outfit was cheap, pink gradient City Streets capris (from JC Penney), black hoodie with pink and white flower print from July (in SM) and black Nine West ballet flats.
The test itself wasn't exactly challenging enough to be memorable... But we gt 50 minutes for Language-something (both English and Filipino), another 50 minutes for Science, 1 hour and 15 minutes for Math (which I didn't finish out of stupidity and lack of basic Math skills. I got too used to having a scical...) and 1 hour and 10 minutes for Reading Comprehension (again both English and Filipino) Surprisingly, I understood enough of the Filipino to get by.
Afterwards, Myrtle found me, apparently, she had run across my parents so she decided to look for me. She invited me to have lunch with her and her dad and since I didn't really have plans, I agreed. (I had to abandon Jessa but she said it was fine... I should give her Milk Duds.) We went to SM City had lunch at Cafe Laguna. We ate baked scallops and buttered chicken, with plain rice, of course. I drank an apple shake. Then, we just decided to look around. I ended up "breaking" a 500-peso bracelet at Black Sheep and having to buy it. The malditas they hired as salesgirls didn't even give me a receipt. Well, they lost my and all my friends' future purchases. They'll probably go broke in... hrmmm... I give it until around December. (If you are reading this, please tell all your friends not to buy at the Black Sheep in SM City. Just go to Maldita in Robinson's; They have the items in stock too.)
Well, seeing as I had already spent Php500 on a friggin bracelet, I decided I might as well buy the adorable boots I wanted from SO!Fab. So I did, along with two pairs of leggings. I'm going to attend mass today just so I can start wearing them already. (I also went shopping with Tatay last Wednesday so I wore the shoes I bought then: SkechersCali, they were on sale. I couldn't afford them otherwise.) We went to Assumption after that so Myrtle could get forms for La Salle, but she couldn't because the registrar had already left. After that, they drpped me off at Commission CIvil, where Analie found a way to secure the break temporarily. I have decided to wear the bracelet at all times to maximize the Php500 I spent for it.
Anyway, that's all that happened. Yesterday, we didn't have electricity so I couldn't do anything and when we finally got the lights on, I was too tire to boot up the computer. So I wasn't able to write my Ateneo essay. Which is what I should really be doing right now. Well, at least blogging got my creative juices flowing. Now to put into enough words to fill two bond papers an experience or achievement that affected/changed my life....

Life's complicated. Nothing's gonna change that...
